Veritas 8 - engineer code and power down? - Find out how to mend it, for free.. I've seen that the system needs powering down to reset the engineer code - is that correct? If so, how exactly do I power down as I can't find the socket or switch that relates to the alarm to be able to turn it off or is there some other way of powering down.

As you say you can reset the alarm panel to factory settings by powering down but if the installer boss-coded the engineer code you wont get the default 1234 engineer code & would need the pcb resetting by Texecom so it would probably be as cheap to buy a new one.
